Our Story
The Vineland Soup Kitchen/Spirit & Truth Ministries is a 501(c)3 organization located in the heart of Vineland, Cumberland County, NJ.
The driving mission of Spirit & Truth is the devotion to provide food assistance to the low-income, food insecure and homeless in the City of Vineland through our daily soup kitchen.
The soup kitchen is located in the basement of the First United Methodist Church on the corner of 7th and Landis Avenues.
For over 30 years, Spirit & Truth has operated a feeding program and has remained the only free Soup Kitchen in the City of Vineland.

What are the hours
of operation?
We operate Monday through Friday. We serve breakfast from 8:00 am - 9:00 am and lunch from 10:00 am - 11:30 am.
What does the Vineland Soup Kitchen provide?
We provide a nutritious hot breakfast and lunch each day. On Fridays, we provide a bagged lunch with food for the weekend.
Do you provide things in addition to food?
During the winter months, we provide personal care items, coats and clothing items. From April-October we invite social service groups to the kitchen as well, like the“If Not for Grace” mobile shower unit.
